Hi! I’m Lyndie,
I am a teacher, health & wellness coach, meditation and mindfulness practioner.
Through online courses, I help women work through challenges and stressors and develop tools to create greater joy, peace, clarity and calm within.
A little bit about myself and what's led me to this work...

I was a teacher for over 30 years and enjoyed helping my students reach their full potentials.
​
In 2010, I experienced some stressors and major life shifts. My father passed away. After his funeral I was driving into the little town
near me to run some errands and I was hit by a drunk driver.
My van was totalled and my life changed instantly. This was devastating for me. I could not do the job
that I loved and I was living with constant pain.
I suffered from PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder), depression, anxiety and chronic pain. Everything that I had worked so hard for was gone. I had lost my dreams and my health.
I knew if I wanted to heal, I would have to do the work. I went for many therapies to help my mind and my body heal; physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists and psychotherapists. Through all of this I realized the strong connection between my mind, body and soul.
I had a choice to make; I could constantly think about all the things that I could not do, or I could start to think about the things that I could do. That was the choice I made. I learned a lot about myself through therapy and by using a number of different practices such as yoga, meditation, mindfulness, positive psychology, nature-based therapy, CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), counselling and nutrition.

Spending time doing these practices gave me the clarity that I needed to focus on myself and my healing.
I learned how to calm my mind, my body and my soul. I found that I had the strength inside of me but I had to be quiet and calm and listen to what I needed for myself to heal.
​
Since then, I've navigated additional stressors including being the caregiver for my mother for ten years and the loss of two friends and three family members.
I once again had to pull from all the resources and practices that I had learned in the past. By doing so, I did notice something different this time when I was going through this extreme stress and sadness…
I was able to deal with these losses and changes with greater ease and a sense of groundedness.
The skills and practices were reliable once again.
These practices have made my life more balanced and manageable. I continue to use practices daily and it's now my passion to teach women these skills and concepts so they too can experience greater calmness, greater joy and greater inner strength.
